When I mail a package out of Sacramento, it takes two days or three days from the time I take it to the post office until it leaves the mail sorting center in West Sacramento - even priority mail packages are taking 4 days to be delivered, are they understaffed there, or just slow?

It's probably nothing to do with them there on your stuff going out. It's on who is picking the stuff up. They may even wait for a full load before they accept a shipment. Meaning, your stuff and other people's stuff accumulate into a big enough load that then they will pick it up.

It looks like it gets to the West Sac sorting center pretty quickly but once there it just sits for a few days, it's odd. I ship quite a bit because I sell online and never had this issue when I was in Reno.
