It is a fantastic place to spend your 30'S, IMO.

It is a very slow paced, suburban, and dull.

Midtown is hardly bustling and full of energy. You must be from Galt if you think that. Midtown is dead 4 nights out of the week. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a So Cal native, I like the laid back and easy living of small town Sacramento. There is not a whole lot to do if you are into nightlife and entertainment. But I like to skateboard and go to dives. So I like it.

I lived in the bay before Sac, and the bay epically sucks. The weather is terrible, drivers are brain dead, and the people are just awful there.
It's probably slow paced for you because it takes an hour to go 2 miles on your skateboard, "brah". Go Lakers.

I thought it was a pretty good place to spend my 20s, but then I was poor, so maybe that's why I had such a good time. Lots of live bands, late-night coffee shops, record and bookstores. But I liked the Bay Area too, living there just seemed like too much hassle.

Honestly I am trying not to be mean, but the people that post "Sac sucks" sound like complete losers to me lol. I have met and dated so many georgeous women here that this place felt like paradise in my late 20's. It was a gazillion times easier than the bay ever was, and isn't finding someone of the opposite sex and making friends really what people refer to when they talk about nightlife? That is what nightlife always boils down to. If you're 20 something and bored here, you have zero game. Harsh but true.

I did the club scene in SF and tons and tons of drinking in my 20's. It was great. Awesome parties, awesome people. So many fun things and experiences. But I can honestly say that Sac has met and exceeded those days in many ways, and I am much happier here. I never drink and still manage to meet new people nearly everyday. In fact, if I coulda chosen I'd have spent my early 20's here instead of the bay.
