Ya, things are great. A guy recently just got stabbed in Midtown for wearing skinny jeans, but I'm gonna call that a freak occurrence.

I moved from the Rancho Cordova area last year which has been in the news on SacBee a lot for not very positive reasons. Midtown was always cool but risky. I used to go to the art walks on the weekends there.

Fortunately, our cost of living is low enough that it's easy to get out of town for a few days during hot weather and take a break from the heat.

Depending on the area, you may consider these complaints
(Hot, kinda dirty, and near impossible to go anywhere interesting due to the traffic) to be an issue here in Sacto as well.
