No regrets about selecting Sacramento. Not particularly a fan of the West, but if I'm settling out here then Sacramento is a comfortable and decent fit for us.
Quite a bit older than you likely are, being married for a long time and having move here in my mid 50's. We moved here to get better day program services for our handicapped adult daughter.
For California, it is a decent place to have a family.
