Lol, big SUV, just saying that the place scares me even with my heaviest possession.

I've never had an address in Sacramento but have spent at least 60 days in the outlining suburbs since 2007 since I have relatives there. Venturing into the city just doesn't seem safe. So I posted my perspective as an outsider.

I don't feel the same way about entering downtown Chico.

Well, that's because Chico is a cute little college town. Generally, places are less scary when you're walking on the sidewalk than they seem through the windows of an SUV. That's how I like downtown Sacramento the best, on foot, or on a bike. But I was one of those GenX slacker types.
