Raley's is opening a store at Sunrise and Douglas, so you'll at least have a supermarket nearby.

seriously no. If your baby becomes so much as anemic you, or your hormonal mama bear wife, will always be wondering if those power lines are to blame, or is it the water?

The contamination extends into other areas of Rancho Cordova, Gold River, the American River and parts of Carmichael It's been on the EPAs radar since 1979-80. People in the affected areas outside of Sunridge Park who have lived far longer with the contamination have not reported nor have there been reports of adverse health outcomes. As was mentioned the water for this area of Rancho comes from uncontaminated sources in the unincorporated Vineyard area.

I'm excited that there is actual confirmation from Raleys/Bel Air and the city that a shopping center will be built in 2017 anchored by either a Raleys or Bel Air next to the existing Walgreens. We are also scheduled for a second elementary school in the community that will serve Anatolia, Sunridge Park and Kavala Ranch. A 20 plus acre regional park (the fourth park within Anatolia) and extended bike trails with a bridge connecting Anatolia with Kavala Ranch are in process.

The shopping center should alleviate the major concern about living here and that's been the lack of retail.
