I don't know if anyone remembers me from a couple years ago. I'd been looking for a place for seniors and trying to decide between various cities, apartments, etc......I stopped looking after my Dad died last year but resumed recently.

I finally found a place! And it's here in Sacramento where I've been living the past 4 years. I'm moving next month and on the search for a cheap way to move.

It's just a 5 mile drive but I can't pack or anything due to a bad back so I'd need. people to help pack and move me.

I did a google search, read through. yelp ads but thought I'd post here since you all were helpful in the past.

I'm needing to move as cheaply as possible but then isn't that everyone's wish?

Thanks for any tips!

I do remember you . . . in fact, I've wondered where you finally ended up. So glad you've found a place close to all that you're familiar with. Great news!

When my SO was moving from the Pocket to Yuba County he used Two Men and a Truck. He was pleased with them. He was moving a one-bedroom apartment so not a lot of items. I can't speak to the actual cost since this occurred as we were just getting our relationship going and weren't financially entwined, but he was pretty frugal so I'd imagine it wasn't outrageously expensive.

Good luck to you and enjoy your new home.

Moved my office in 2016 and used this company. Was satisfied with their transparency, work. Recommend you do budget for a tip.

Good to know. Thank you both! I just read some reviews about them. I'll give them a call and see if they offer packing services as well.

Yes movinon-It's nice to have found a place close to what I need and is affordable at the same time. Rents around here have gone up so much I'm lucky to have gotten in to this place.

It will be nice to both settle here and feel settled here. : ).
