Now that we are in the active relocation process of our move from the Dallas area to either Roseville or Rocklin - can you give me an idea of a few things?

-What is your average summer electric bill for a house around 1300-1700 sq ft

-What is your average winter gas bill for same size house?

-Average monthly water/trash bill?

-What is the average cost of yearly homeowners insurance?

If my questions are too general please let me know!

I currently live in west roseville and we have roseville utilties which are the cheapest in the area second only to SMUD in sacramento county. We have a 2600 sq ft house. I work from home on the PC and my combined, garbage, water, electricity bill ranges from 180-220 a month throughout the year. Gas is around $10 in summer months and $60-70 in the winter. I have a new construction home and my insurance is under $400 a year. Auto insurance will be more expensive so be aware of that. Roseville and Rocklin are both great areas with great schools. Those were my two choices as well before we settled down in Roseville and we love it here! Rocklin does have PG&E for electricity and their rates I have heard can be crazy in the summer hopefully someone else can chime in on active costs.

What the hell? From which insurance company? That is extremely cheap, especially covering a 2600 sq ft house.

Mine is around $1,000 and some odd change for 1800 sq ft. It used to be cheaper in the $800 range a few years ago. My rates has been going up.

Wow. I'm in Texas - 2800 sq ft house and my electric bill for July was $522, water $150, gas $30.

If I can find any relief from these high electric bills, it will feel as if I've died and gone to heaven.

We've signed a lease for a house in Rocklin, moving in about 5 weeks - I was there this past weekend just for a day to find a house and loved it. I think we'll be very happy!

Even though I live in Elk Grove, I cannot imagine that my bill would be way off.

Average electric bill for my house is $75 a month for the year. In the summer, it reaches tripple digits, but no more than $120 and in the winter, it's about $55.

My pge is around $25 a month. Higher in the winter and lower in the summer

my average water bill is 100 a month and my garbage is about 35 a month

home owner insurance is 800 a year

But i should have preference by saying that i live on my own. Also the house i live in is more than 1700sq

OMG those numbers sound amazing. I'm about to pay my $522 electric bill today actually. So high it hurts!
