I am not surprised, as this president you voted in does nithing but blame 24/7. Somehow a 40 yr old debate that’s literally elicited domestic acts of terrorism is not political, but a march done by a demographic that’s the very centerpiece of the violence is. Got it. Makes perfect sense.

I’ve said at least twice here that she didn’t deserve to be fired. I also understand that making dumb decisions (even statements) often has unfair consequences. In this case it did. Grow up and take responsibility for youe damn actions and quit blaming others.
So tiresome to keep repeating myself:

It's similar to what the 3 complaintants did - make a decision (that any discussion that includes abortion is polarizing. For the record, the gun control discussion is also polarizing.), based on their own personal beliefs (you find abortion good, guns bad), and take steps to shut down any discussion that disagreed with that belief. It's called bullying, and only tolerated when it's the left doing the bullying.

Totally agree.

Also, FYI, Rocklin is a relatively middle-class area with somewhat libertarian, but not overly conservative leanings. They certainly aren't social conservatives, but aren't liberal either. Not really anti-gun, but they haven't lost their minds on gun rights either. I don't know what the issues are around allowing protests for some, but not for other issues. Or, if there were any issues. It could be that she is very political and wanted to engage politics in the classroom when her job was to teach.

It could be that the school district has made an exception for this protest due to the severity of the issue and the teacher didn't like it. We don't know. In the end, a school districts role is to make sure the students spend a given amount of time in the classroom, but allow some discretion on a case by case basis. Perhaps this teacher had her own political agenda where the school district was attempting to remain neutral and she kept pushing the wrong buttons and it has nothing to do with marxism, as you think it does.
I'm quite aware of the politics of Rocklin and...this post explains it quite accurately. Very accurately actually.
