I have a picture on my phone of a sticker on a car that says keep midtown janky. I would say downtown it can get a bit crunchy granola but nothing too crazy. You won't see much of that out in the burbs of sac though.

Nevada County and in particular Nevada City have become very bohemian. It's the "Mendocino County of the Sierras."

The Janky scene is steadily moving to the north end of Oak Park. Midtown is gentrifying. Come to think of it, so is the north end of Oak Park, as the janky types are the pioneers.

Hipsterism has been over. But in true Sacramento fashion people are still hanging on to SF/LA trends from 5 years ago.

Hippies? Maybe a few up in the hills, but no.

Sacramento is a normcore town.
