Tower 301: Sacramento's Next Tower

https://tower301.com

With class A office space in downtown Sacramento at 93.5 percent occupancy, and no chunks of space of 150,000 square feet or more available, the timing is right to bring a large office project to the market, they added. The Greater Sacramento Economic Council has cited the lack of available office space as a barrier to entry for companies interested in the Sacramento market.

Who or what type of Company would you like to occupy the building and would you like to live or work there?

1. At 557 feet the Tower would be Sacramento's tallest building.

2. Tower 301 would be 128 feet taller than Well Fargo Tower.

3. A Park open to the public would sit on the roof of the fourth floor. From the ground floor sidewalk/plaza an escalator leading to the rooftop of the ground floor would allow the general public to enjoy the green space and would allow great views of the Tower Bridge and the Capital Bldg.

4. A Coffeehouse, Restaurant, Fitness Center would sit adjacent to the park on the fourth floor.

5. 100 residential apartments would be on floors 2 to 4. They chose the lower floors so they could keep the rental rates more affordable and easier to lease.

6. Three floors of Cantilevered office space.

7. 28 floors of office space.

8. A greenhouse office space on the 5th floor.

Bland design at best for the soon to be tallest building. Was hoping for a skyline defining type of building to fill the vacancy in the ground, another rectangular building going up. Still pretty cool, but the architecture could have been much better. Especially knowing the other buildings CIM has come up with across the globe.

Not the greatest design by any means but I'll take it. I want something build there now.

Hopefully Calpers and CIM move forward with the process. They have held the city hostage for a decade. I want to see results, not pretty drawings.

Boring design, which seems typical for CIM. At least it's not outwardly ugly like their Austin project. Things like the greenhouse and the public park space are easily and commonly removed from final deisgns for financial/environmental/safety reasons. But they look pretty in pictures and get people excited.

Never gonna happen. It will stay a hole in the ground or become another bland midrize. Just look what is happening on that prime spot on Capitol Mall. Wacka wacka wacka
