Hello everyone! Looking to possibly make the move from Palm Beach County (Western Lake Worth area specifically) to Wake County, NC with Cary, Apex or Holly Springs being tops on the list so far. The main motivation for the move is to raise our kids in a safer environment while also being in a phenomenal school district. Has anyone made this move that could provide some insight into your experience? Do you find it too slow-paced? Does it feel overcrowded compared to south Florida? How does the cost of living compare? Are you happy with the schools? Bonus points if you can speak to how the Wake public school system works in terms of rezoning/reassigning as this is a major worry of mine. Thanks so much!
