Hello,

I just moved into town and was wondering what everyone thought of the Southside Park area. I saw a past thread in 2009 and it seemed like people thought it was an ok neighborhood but was getting better. Any updated opinions?

Thanks

It's a pretty good neighborhood, we were looking at a home off 5th and V before we purchased elsewhere. Pretty centrally located in the heart of Downtown and has a great park anchoring the neighborhood. A strong Asian/Chinese population in the area and several churches but overall pretty solid. Homelessness is always an issue to keep in mind.
