Was amazed at how bad traffic was today at 2:30pm and how crowded stores were on a week day. WTF is no one working at a job today?

State employees generally get 4 hours off to use either on Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve, so that could have been part of it.

A friend called today around 2 saying she couldn't even get into the parking lot of the grocery store and when she parked in the lot next store found the store had horrendous lines. I guess everyone's shopping for their parties tonight.

I just want this for the record for people to see for research. On christmas eve (2019) in Roseville, major stoplights around Galleria, Roseville Parkway area were at 2 stoplight cycles to get through. Not to mention any other collector streets were also operating at an extra light or so plus people that have no idea what they doing or are unaware of where they are trying to go. Be prepared next time, I plan on using a high powered electric scooter next time.

At least you don't have to deal with the issues then lol. The only problem I have with with the City is that in many cases to do things around town you'll inevitably have to get to the "other side of town" which means getting around Highway 65 or the Galleria, or around the railroad tracks which are all pains in the ass. Critical infrastructure, but, quite a hassle. For that reason, I will defer to taking residential streets if it means getting around bull**** queuing at major intersections.
