That is good news for your area ! Unfortunately, the Bay Area, for the most part, is not yet to that point. I am having a "mobile" barber cut my hair this week, outdoors in back of where I live. Below is quote from KGO/ABC 7

"The only counties not allowed to move into Stage 2.5 are Alameda, Contra Costa, Imperial, Los Angeles, Marin, Monterey, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz and Tulare counties."

oh wow, sorry about that! I forgot about the bay area counties still being on lock down. My family is ok as far as haircuts, I cut their hair. My parents forced me to go to cosmetology school when I was 17 (they said it was a good job for a girl grrr) I hated it and after getting my license I never worked in a salon, but I did learn how to cut hair (male and female) so some good came out of it.

A lot of the nail saloon's also used to offer massages, or was that prohibited? Because my understanding is that these places have the same licensing issues as the happy ending places and I was thinking that might not be the type of activity you want going on during a global pandemic, so I am wondering how they are going to handle that? Has anyone seen any clarification on that?

The Bee article mentioned that they are not opening nail salons at this time.

You don't want to risk a mobile barber haircut in your yard, patio or garage ?

My hair stylist would be disappointed. She's been texting her clients since April about a potential reopening of her salon.

well I already learned to cut my hair and have pro clippers so it takes me 5 minutes to do a cut at home now and I get 90% close to what the Asian barbers can get. No need to spend $ anymore and should save me $200-300 a year and no wait.

The mobile barber did a good job today for me. She cut my hair outside, out back of where I live. We both wore masks & latex gloves......it was rather breezy while she was cutting my hair......so, I think from a risk standpoint, that was likely a positive thing.
