My offer was accepted on Fair Oaks home yay! The place has many fruit trees and wanted some tips on how to keep them healthy so that I can enjoy tasty fruits for long time. Any gardeners here with fruit trees that can offer tips for a newbie?

Once the tree is established generally you don't have to do that much. You might check on the fertilizer recommendations that very based upon the specific tree. Some fruit and nut trees draw birds and rodents that want to eat the fruit and nuts so a cat or two might be helpful if that is the case.

Thanks shelato! I love cats so having one or two around is all good. Dogs as well and with 1/4 acre lot should have room for new pets. Now the fun begins as first time home buyer. Shame no federal tax credits anymore. No to go through inspections, loan approvals, escrow fun. And to find good local movers. Hopefully the inspections come back without major issues and process can get me to closing before end of next month.

Its always fun moving into your own home. A 1/4 acre lot is huge. I am happy for you. I also like fair Oaks a lot. Its nice.
