Hi,

I'm doing a move and was looking for 1 or 2 day laborers to load stuff off a 2bedroom apartment into a truck. Which Homedepot parking lot has day laborers hanging out? Prefer the Roseville area but can drive down to Sacramento if that's the only option. If there's another place other than Homedepot to find them, I can go there as well.

You could also simply put up a flyer at your local high school.

When we moved to Sacramento from Reno we lined up helpers on Craigslist. I got a few references from them and they were legit & did a great job

Less risky to ask for helpers on NextDoor.

I had good experiences of using movers through Uhaul. You can find a list of movers online through the Uhaul site who they have for any specific areas. You can hire them to move you all the way to one location with their truck or just to load or unload your truck at a single location. Usually there is an hourly price they will quote you and they will send 2 or 3 guys depending on how much there is to move. The guys I used last time (about 5-years ago now) I have listed below - I used Uhaul the first time and then went directly through them the second time. Note: I have no stake in their business or any contact with them since I moved. I think it was about $50 or $60 an hour to use my own truck and have them do the heavy lifting.
