I'm in a senior apartment facility in Carmichael and need to get rid of some big unused furniture and stuff to make room for smaller items. I am in need of a charity or individual to come collect my donations at my second floor apartment. There are large elevators.
I have a king-size electric bed, raiseable head, feet and massage; a desk; a narrow bookshelf; a large, new and unassembled office chair; 2 large, almost new deck chairs with built in tables; a walker with seat; a hearing aid with accessories and other odds and ends.
I've had a smaller bed on order since July and they assure me that it will be here by the end of October, but with the cargo thing, who knows? As soon as it arrives, everything can go, and I'd really like it if whoever comes would take everything.
If anyone is interested or has any suggestions, I'd love to hear from you.
Thanks so much, Jackie

Try the Saint Vincent de Paul Society at Saint John Vianney. I have had luck with them in the past. You will need to call the one associated with that parish, not the general number.

Default Thanks for the tip

I've been trying to reach them for awhile now but the phone stays busy.
