I have lived in Wilton all my life, although it has grown tremendously, it is a very nice place to live. A lot of horse ranches, 5 acre farms. Dillard School is excellant, an old country school with all the modern technology. Be real careful though about flooding, certain spots flood terrible, not all the time but when we get a real rainy year, there are quite a few areas that flood. Cosumnes river runs through Wilton be careful there. As far as crime, I would feel really safe, GOOD PEOPLE in Wilton.

Thank you for your help?

As far as businesses go, is there much in Wilton or do you go have to go to Elk Grove for most things?

Thank you again!

Default Businesses in Wilton???

Sorry there isn't much, 2 stores, and a post office and I think some people have businesses in their homes. Yes, you will have to go to Elk Grove and Elk Grove is growing so there is a lot of business in Elk Grove. But Wilton is only 8 miles from Elk Grove so you will the best of both worlds. Property in Wilton right now is down pretty good and you could get a nice Ranchette or $500-$700,000.
