A bunch of house listings are also coming up under this category: Sacto Franklin/Freeport/Vicinity

What is this area like?

HMMM depends - if anything is close to Franklin I'd avoid it! Freeport is iffy - the north part is quite nice - the south part you are getting into "South Sac" which you need to avoid like the plague

What is the criteria you are putting in for this house search?

Apparently I am putting the wrong criteria. LOL..... Mostly we heard that Roseville is nice so we are probably going to buy there. But I was just curious and started looking in the Sac area. Just out of curiosity what parts of the Sac County areas are actually nice?

Sacramento county that is nice will be Fair Oaks, Carmichael, East Sac, Land Park, Curtis Park, River Park, and pretty much anything close to the American River Parkway

Roseville is nice - much better then the areas you are looking at

Take a look at Folsom (Sac County) - it's even nicer then Roseville

Fair Oaks and Carmichael are part of the San Juan School district which is good

East Sac, Land Park and River Park areas have good elementary schools but they won't be anywhere near as good as San Juan SD or Roseville or Folsom etc
