WOW... In the past 12 mos home values have dropped over 33%...

Mike Lyon of Lyon Real Estate said it will be 4 years before the market turns around.

On top of this I spoke with one of my friends who works the Placer county area (makes the Masters Club year after year)... business is S L O W...

Dog piling on all this info is the foreclosure issues that I have spoke of... now it is getting a lot more attention as more homes come to market...

Looks like people should hold their ground for a while longer and let the prices continue to drop... unless you want to listen to those agents who say it's great time to buy... SWQUAK... time to buy... SWQUAK... :P

Actually it is a great time to buy. I am closing on my house in Lincoln Crossing today. I just purchased a brand new home with almost 2200 sf for 260,000. The builder contributed almost 46,000 dollars towards my closing. Which included all my closing costs, down payment. Money off the price of the house and 24 months of paying my melloroos and HOA. The same home in the same gated community when they first started building in 2005 was selling for about 130,000 more. So yes, I would say if you are looking to buy. Then now is probably the time.

Nice... exceptions to every rule... yours is an isolated case in a niche area... which does not reflect the over all market... to make this balanced now we need somone to post how badly screwed they feel about being so upsdie down LOL
