Sac has mosquitos, but the South has much more - you guys have humidity and standing water MUCH more then Sac.

We would have city wide sprays for mosquito's, but the thing that didn't make sense to me, is i have never been bitten in Sacramento. I lived there for 20 years and been bitten by spiders and flea's (from the cats), but never from a mosquito.

If you ever go camping, NEVER go to stumpy meadows during the summer. It's the mosquito breading ground of northern california.

I actually found a mosquito stat tool on weather.com. Just type in the city and I think it was on the right side of the page, down about half way. Pretty cool.

Roseville, where I reside, has plenty of them - and yes they bite! It is especially bad right now, during the time the farmers drain the rice fields of water in neighboring Sutter county, causing the billions of mosquitoes to find other habitable places. Apparently, they are going to do some overhead spraying next week because it is getting so bad.
