Looking to buy a fixer upper within the City of Sacramento and completley remodel it. If anyones pulled a remodel permit latley, let me know what you paid and what improvements you performed. Thanks.

Depends on where the house is. Many of Sacramento's older neighborhoods are design review districts or historic preservation districts, those govern some of the exterior remodeling that can be done. Sacramento's Community Development Department (formerly the Development Services Department) can tell you more.

Here is a link to the Sacramento City website building permit page. As wburg states it is going to depend on what you are doing and where. Start by talking with the counter people and they can get you pointed in the right direction.
Come up with your budget, then double it. I've seen a lot of distressed properties that got that way because the "fllipper" ran out of $.

I was just seeing if anyone had done one recently and if so how much. Just a ball park, I don't want to talk to any City Worker retards unless I have to. I am an estimator for a construction company, I am familiar with commercial permits but not residential.
