Hi everyone, what are some parts of Elk Grove where most Asian people (mostly Chinese) live? Are there any Asian plazas/malls/supermarkets in the Elk Grove area? Thanks!

The communities in Elk Grove are integrated, there arent really any Asian neighborhoods. The Asian plazas are along Stockton Blvd in South Sacramento.

The largest concentration of Vietnamese and Chinese owned shops is along Stockton Blvd from roughly Fruitridge to about Mack. The other large concentration of asian shops is on Folsom Blvd from La Riveria to Olsen Drive, this area has more Korean shops, but is smaller than the one on Stockton Blvd.

The neighborhoods immediately adjacent to Stockton Blvd isn't very good and the schools are kind of sketchy, so the more prosperous asians are moving to Elk Grove to buy into the better schools, while still being in fairly close proximity to the shopping along Stockton Blvd.

haha, because we like to support Asian businesses, but jokes aside there aren't any parts of Elk Grove that are predominately Asians or Chinese, the nearest Asian supermarket is SF Supermarket on Franklin.

I just ask because this questions comes up, like, a lot! I know when most people need to go to a Chinese/Indian/Portugues or whatever market they just road trip it over to South Sac. I don't think I would live in that area just to be close to like an Asian video rental store or whatever it is you want.
