Hi All.

I'll be moving up to Sacramento soon and was wondering how the commute would be from the western part of Roseville (mainly along I 80, I guess) to the Kaiser hospital (on Morse Ave-- by Watt & Alta Arden cross streets). I figure I'd be commuting during peak hours, but I can use the HOV lane. How long would it take me to go to work and back home during rush hour (seems to be about 20-25 minutes during off-peak hours, according to Google).

If the commute is bad, I guess I'd try to find a nice area in Carmichael. Are the areas with newer homes comparable to Roseville? I've also got 2 small kids that'll need good schools (and eventually, good malls ).

thanks in advance,

- Frank

Honestly - go over to Sunrise Blvd and go south - for a ways, then cross over twoards Watt/Arden

Side streets will go faster then the 80 at peak rush hours

Default commute

Did a similar commute for a few years. About 30-40 minutes most days. If West Roseville take Watt Ave. Lots of lights but better than freeway.
