Budget is $350k and have 4 medium sized dogs and would like to live near a park that we can walk our dogs or a good neighborhood that has sidewalks.

What are the best areas for walking ?

Small, which to me is under 2000 sq ft. I prefer a better yard than house. It is just my husband and I and our 4 dogs. prefer not to have to get in my car to take a 3-4 mile walk. We do like older communities and older houses that have some character.

I have never entered the state of California so I seriously am clueless on the area. I am only drawn to Folsom County b/c huge fan of Cash. Not a great reason to pursue a neighborhood. My husband will be working in Sacramento. thanks for the help!

Folsom is Sac. County. There are 21 properties on R.com that are 350 and under. They do have plenty of parks and sidewalks. Nice neighborhoods!

Best large park that I have always loved Is Mckinley Park - which is in East Sac

The next most amazing park (which also hold a small golf course and the Sac Zoo) is Land Park

YOu'll love both areas - but for $350K you'll be looking at a very small house - probably a fixer upper
