We are interested in moving to that area and would like to learn more about schools. Per API and reviews from greatschools.com, the best schools in Granite Bay are:

1. High School: Granite Bay High School
2. Middle School: Willma Cavitt Junior High School
3. Elementary School: Oakhills Elementary School and Ridgeview Elementary School

Does it sound right? I would like to know experience from locals. Any thoughts? My children are still preschool ages. Any recommendation on good preschools?

Have the school boundaries ever changed? Any areas in Granite Bay we should avoid? Thank you.

Right now, I attend Granite Bay High School, it's a great school but I've noticed the teachers aren't always the best and the class sizes are huge, up to 60 kids in a class. However, I've found it very helpful since it helps prepare for college.

I attended Oakhills and Ridgeview elementary schools from second to sixth grade. Awesome schools, some amazing teachers there.

When it comes to junior high, I'd go with Olympus Junior High. It's the same district but based on my experience Olympus is a much more inviting and better educationally.

For preschool, there really isn't too many options that I'm aware of. I went to American Montesory Accademy, but I'm aware of there is a Granite Bay Montesory. I just loved the montersory concept and I believe it put me ahead in school.

I hope that helped a little! Good luck!

Cavitt sucks. I went there. Horrible, old, un-motivated, dumb teachers. Also now bad places in granite bay it's all rich

I would also consider looking at Olympus Junior High and Eureka Elementary.
