I'd say it will be within walking distance. The retail portion is planned for being closer to 27th, I believe, with a medical offices closer to Battlecreek. But the zoning change hasn't been approved, and who knows what the city will decide.

I think Kuebler will be widened at some point, which should help with the new traffice, but the only time I've seen Kuebler really busy is around 4:30 - 6:00 p.m.

Yeah, usually its the commute times that are bad. Just not too sure I'd want to plunk down there right before it exploads with more traffic. Seems like it might be a good investment though given the neighborhoods there. I did hear some road noise from kuebler when I was last over there on a weekend but it wasnt too bad.

Default We love Keizer!

I would highly recommend Keizer...a wonderful sense of community, we've lived here for 13 years. Our kids have attended Gubser Elementary and had a wonderful experience there. Gubser, Clear Lake, and Forest Ridge are all equally wonderul schools with high state ratings. I was just looking at Keizertimes.com (local newspaper) at the parade photos...this community is close to everything-Portland just 45 minutes, shopping is great, beach is 45 minutes away.

Default Salem vs. Corvallis???

Why would you want to work, shop, eat, and be entertained in Salem and live in a boring little backwards town like Corvallis???
