I'm a Dog Trainer, and I have one dog that's a Service Dog, and another that's a female German Shepherd. Both dogs are exceptionally well trained and I work with Rescues to help train their dogs ect. I'm going to be relocating to Salt Lake City soon, and I was interested in what was available housing wise. I need a place that will accept a German Shepherd, but unfortunately so many people see them as such an Aggressive breed, which is quite the contrary. I'd be looking for a house, apartment, townhouse ect, I really don't care as I just want my dogs allowed with me. Anyone have any ideas? The most Rent I could do would be $850/mth, and I'd prefer a 2 bedroom.

It's kind of hard to answer a question like yours, simply because it's hard to know how various landlords feel about doggy tenants. I know that in my Cottonwood Heights neighborhood, there are occasionally rental homes with decent sized yards, and probably three-quarters of the people on my street (my husband and me included) have dogs. My former boss (I'm recently retired ) also lives in Cottonwood Heights (though she is a homeowner, not a renter) and has two German Shepherds. Not sure if you could rent in this area for $850 a month, but you might be able to.
