Trust me, you DON"T want a Popeye's here. Or you'll have an on call cardiologist at St. Marks I'm only half kidding. That stuff is a pure addiction. I'm convinced they put an addicting chemical in their chicken. It is brutally good and greasy as well. I guess there truly is no free lunch. Anything that tastes that good can't be good for you.

Oh, and if we ever get a Popeye's, my on-call radiologist will be at the U or IMC, thankyouverymuch. I know too much about St. Mark's.

Don't worry, eat enough Crown Burgers and you'll need a defibrillator anyways.

Now THIS seriously made me LOL! Literally.

I've heard people say this before, and I just don't get it. Like I don't get gummi bears and Twilight, I don't get Waffle House. What IS it about Waffle House??!??

I am ready to be enlightened.

Well, I used to travel for a living and the Waffle House is interesting. There are good and not so good ones so not really consistent. Just like Village Inn. I ate at one in Colorado once that I considered inedible. The one in Murry is excellent and the one in South Jordan is just ok. Consistency in a chain is hard to find. They are by NO means McDonalds in consistency. But if you had a good Waffle House it would get good

When I lived in Austin,TX, I was right down the street from a Taco Cabana and it was perfect for late night Mexican food cravings. I would love, love, love a Chuy's here (big dreams). I wouldn't mind Church's Chicken either! Oh, and if anyone has any good, and I mean really good bbq restaurant recommendations, please throw them my way! I've been meaning to check out Pat's down south but I'm a bit scared it's overrated. I guess we'll find out
