I feel that way, too. When in Rome....

If I moved to someplace else, I wouldn't expect them to conform to what I was used to. I get tired of newcomers moving in and saying, "Well, when I lived [insert ANY other state] we did such and such". Guess what, Buttercup...you aren't in [said state] anymore!!

I would consider the boundaries 4800 West to the East, 6200 to the North, 5600 to the West, and 7000 South to the south. Usually it's known as the "Oquirrh Shadows" development. Definitely not the best place in West Jordan, but it's better than other areas of the County.
So the area you guys are referring to thats new and near 111, is that further west and south of what I see on Google Maps as Oquirrh?

Have to agree. The way I see it, the whole reason for relocating is for a change of life/pace. If I expected others to conform to my way I might of well stayed where I was.

A little difficult to experience culture and learn something new if you expect everyone to think and act like the people where "you/I" are from.

This is perfectly what I & my neighbors call Oquirrh. I have a number of friends who live w/in that area. =)

I've always heard/gone by the 'over a bridge', 'railroad crossing', 'highway' a world apart. Where I live, we all wave at all the passing cars (unless they are speeding, then we curse them lol) . We have neighborhood chats w/ the 'girls' alot here. lol We just sit on the sidewalk & 'shoot the breeze'. lol We are really laid back here.
