Salt Lake's farmers market welcomes summer season - ksl.com

Farmers mostly on the north side of Pioneer Park, crafts mostly on the south side, plenty of police walking around. No homeless folks around. Wonderful smells of BBQ that was already sold out - bummer!

8 a.m. to 1 p.m. although it takes a while to break down the booths. Some people were still selling at 1:30, some had their cash box locked up and you needed exact change (I bought something at 1:30).

I forgot to mention the food vendors were clustered mostly in the middle of the park.

I'm moving to American Towers - which is just around the corner from the park - at the end of June! Can't wait for that for the Twilight Concert Series!

Utah here we come!

Yay! I LOVE the Farmer's Market! Besides the obivous, they have gormet foods & meets & cheeses, baked goods, art, music, food vendors...it's like a mini-festival every week! I do some Christmas shopping over the summer.

Why doesn't everybody post their favorite items to purchase there.... I always go for the Salsa, Pesto, and Pepper Jelly booths! Some of the fresh produce and breads are also great as well...
