Canyons, but all the Cottonwood and Summit County resorts are between 30 and 45 minutes away. Go with your favorite or the best deal.

Really, it's a non-issue. You can get to any of the ski resorts along the Wasatch Front within 45 minutes max.

Go with any in big or little cottonwood canyons and avoid the Parley Summit drive.

If it was a race.... and the winner was determined by the first to get on a lift... I think SOLITUDE would win. All seven resorts in the Park City/Cottonwood Canyons are about 40 minutes away... Solitude seems to have the easiest parking/check-in and the shortest lines. Parking at Deer Valley is an absolute mess sometimes... and Snowbird can get hairy as well.
