Hello,

Does anyone know what the western boundary of Sugar House is? The reason I'm asking is because I'm looking at an apartment on 1800 South and 600 East and I can't seem to find a straight answer for this online. Some sites say 700 East. Others say 500 East. Thanks in advance!

I grew up in the heart of Sugarhouse and now live in Liberty Wells.
Sugarhouse is the more desireable neighborhood. Liberty Wells is mixed; some areas are nice, others are not as good. The area you are talking about is so close to Sugarhouse that some who live there will identify more with Sugarhouse, but I agree it is in Liberty Wells. Even some real-estate lisings will list 1800 south and 600 east as Sugarhouse, trying to identify with higher value. 1800 south and 600 east is close to the shopping and restaurants of Sugarhouse on 2100 south. 700 east is a busy thouroughfare, 6 lanes wide. Liberty Park is at 700 East and 1300 south, so you would be about 3 blocks from the park. The park is a jewel, with a great jogging track and
bird atrium. Liberty Wells can be not so great when you get closer to Central City, closer to downtown, but even then there are some nicer streets.

out of curiosity how does sugarhouse compart to other SLC subburbs? I was there at a pancake place a few weeks ago. Pancakes were good, I was just wondering it's one of the nicer areas or not.
