Taking a trip out West in a month and wanted to learn a little on the weather when we come out as well as what winters are like in the area.

What is weather typiclly like in March?

How much snow does the Salt Lake area get?

When do the winter months begin in Salt lake?

Thanks For Your help!

Nothing is typical anymore. We had the driest December on record - ever. January wasn't better.

This after last year's record snow/water dump.

All bets are off. I've been here in March when we've had snow-storms that stopped traffic and closed the university.

Be prepared for anything.

But then, MDSW (McD SkunkWorks) maybe working on that also, and then they ask if we like to supersize that also ...

This morning, I look out the window and the sun is shining, so I feel good.
I go to the kitchen to get me a cup of good hot Cocoa, and come back and the sky is dark ...
