Draper is such a great community! Ok, I'm biased. Lived here since 1st grade. But question, why are your kids going up to Sprucewood, in Sandy, when you live in Draper? Draper Elementary would be better, or even Oak Hollow, on South Mountain. There is also a nice new charter school in 13400 S. and 1300 E. The kids I babysat for liked it there. Good luck!

Draper has tons of kids. Nice new library, lots of shopping. My kids go to Channing Hall (it's a charter) near 300 E and Bangerter. Very good school. (Charters are extremely hard to get into, though. There is a waiting list of over 1000 families--not just single students--trying to get in. It's a lottery system.)

Default Draper Feedback

I moved to Draper from Socal three years ago and love it here....The reason why kids in Draper go to Sprucewood is because there are not enough schools in Draper to support the amount of kids. Up until the the early 2000's Draper was nothing but farm land. I live in Suncrest on top of South Mountain and the kids up here either go to Alpine School District or are bused to Sandy Schools even though there are closer schools for them to attend. They are attending Sandy Schools because there are A LOT less kids in some parts of Sandy than there are in Draper. Jordan School District schools are AVERAGE, every family I have met that has had their kids at both Jordan Schools and Alpine School District schools prefer Alpine School District any day (even if you are not mormon).
