Hi there, I just moved the Salt Lake City area about 2 weeks ago. I used to go 80's dancing every Friday night at Lola's room in Portland, and I am wondering where a good place to go 80's dancing might be in Salt Lake City? It would be great to find a place where people actually dressed in 80's clothes too. I want to wear my leg warmers

Any ideas? Thanks so much!

Default honey

I don't know. I'm not aware of any hopping 80s nightlife here in Salt Lake. It could exist of course. Maybe check the weekly news circular thingy.

Sanctuary - Salt Lake's Gothic & Industrial Dancing @ Area 51

I pulled up Area 51 on google but would not know. I'm too old for the whole club scene. Good luck.

Default Years Ago

I went to a club that was on 9000 south. I think it was called Club 90.

Hope this helps.

Area 51 in SLC has some fun 80's Dancing on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Thursday night seems to be more popular, but if you love the music and want a DJ to yourself, Tuesday can be fun as well with a group of friends. This club is a little run-down and not a posh place, but it's cheap and with the right croud can be a lot of fun.
Cheers!
