Seen this person around? (Please remove if not allowed) (Salt Lake City: homeless, yard)

Out of curiosity, has anyone seen the following man in Utah? Particularly in the Salt Lake Valley; perhaps near Sugarhouse and/or South Salt Lake? I ask about him because I have seen him around all my life (until a few years back) but I know nothing about him, so curiosity has gotten the best of me. I don’t wish to bother or harm anyone, I just want to know if others have seen him around and if they know anything about him. Nothing too personal, of course.

The man I have seen may be homeless (I’m not sure, he just always seems to be roaming the streets). My mom met him briefly in ‘96 when he was helping her bring in two kittens into the old Brickyard Animal Hospital. Since then, we have seen him from time to time walking around the Salt Lake valley. I don’t have a great description of him because we usually see him while we are driving by or in a public space where we are doing something else. I usually mind my own business, but now curiosity has won.

He is an older, caucasian gentleman (in his sixties or seventies) who is clean-shaven with slightly thinning white hair. He is of medium height and is a little stout. He also has a round-ish face that always seems to have a smile. My mother said he spoke in a very proper, almost formal way when she met him.

The most distinguishing aspect about him are his suits. When we first started seeing him, he wore a suit that was mostly yellow. Then he had a suit that was mostly pink. Then it was mostly white. And, last time we saw him, he had a suit that was mostly brown. It is always very monochromatic. He walks around a lot, but his attire always appears very clean.

So, has anyone (particularly in Salt Lake City, Utah) seen or know of this man? I have no intention of hurting him or bothering him in any way, he has just been a figure in my life for some time and I am curious about him. If I see him naturally, I may ask him about himself, but that is the extent of it. I will probably be very awkward and not even do that much. Plus I have not seen him in a few years and I hope he is alright.

I've never seen the guy. He does sound interesting, though. I'd be interested in hearing if you ever find out who he is.
