What is the IT job prespective in SLC and the surrounding areas?

My husband had an internship end at the end of dec. and just yesterday got a really good IT job downtown SLC. He didn't even apply for it, they came to him. He also had a fair amount of interest in the short time he was unemployed. If you haven't already Monster.com is a really good place to put your resume on and look for jobs. Despite the economy it appears to me that the IT industry is still doing pretty good.

Possibly only for interns and Post IBM languages.

25 years in and out of the biz here and it's been 8 months or so since last real offer.
