Any prevailing strong opinions on Whipple vs. say SameDay Heating and Air for a furnace cleaning and prep for the winter?

Since no one has answered yet, I will say that I've used Whipple for many years and been completely satisfied. They come on time, at night and on weekends, and have professional employess; I've heard they are more expensive than other companies but I don't know if that's true or not. Sometimes you get what you pay for! I don't know anything about the other company, sorry.

I work for a local utility, and we have had a LOT of compaints about Whipple ripping off senior citizens (doing work they did not need, overcharging them, etc).

I have had nothing but good luck with Superior Water and Air. Yes I know that they have the big ads in the yellow pages and lots of TV advertising-but..they beat Manwill and Thompson & Sons by a mile for price and service!
