So there are the givens for San Antonio - Riverwalk, Fiesta Texas, Seaworld... and I can do lots of searches to find "nightlife" ie bars and clubs... but what are some other fun things to do after 7pm in the area? We usually wind up going to a movie, just because we can't think of anything else. Any recommendations?

One of my coworkers is in several bowling leagues, and another plays in a softball league over at Ancira Sports Park. Both get them out of the house socializing with people, but aren't about bars and nightclubs.

How about a Ghost Hunt?

My family and I took the walking ghost tour in downtown San Antonio. It was fun and little bit spooky.

You can go to a Missions baseball game, Rampage hockey game (season hasn't started), play putt putt, go to Gruene, Texas for dinner and shopping.

Retama Park if you like the horses. The planetarium at SAC if you're into that sort of thing. Go to a show at Steven Stoli Playhouse. Drive out to Helotes and go up the hills to look at the city view. Wait till the elevator is definitely fixed at the Tower, and go up! The McNay Art Museum is open till 9 on Thursdays, and I think it's free (used to be anyway). The Witte is a great museum and it's open late on Tuesdays, I think.

There's more, let me think!

This sounds like fun! I already called a girlfriend of mine and said guess where we are going. She was game!
