I don't know if I already mentioned this, but they sell $2 PBG tall boys at Limelight (on N. Saint Mary's), and I also picked up a tallboy six-pack at Don's and Ben's on McCullough a couple days ago. (They were out of Lone Star--what can I say?)

I feel like I've seen it at Valero, too.

DONT SAY THE INTERNET

Get thee to Stone Oak. They have six packs of the tall 16 oz. PBR at the Tetco in Stone Oak, corner of Stone Oak Parkway and Huebner. I see it there all the time.

Default Speaking of Shiner...

A few of the posts above mentioned Shiner Beer and discussed they're likes and dislikes of Shiner beers.
Here's a tip....Buy a 6-pack, or 12-pack of the Shiner Family Re-Union beers.
It is an assortment of Shiner Beers.
Inside will be a bottle of beer called Kosmos, named after Kosmos Spoetzl, the founder of the brewery. This Kosmos beer is the best beer they make; but it is not massed produced and is only found in the Shiner Family Re-Union packs.

It is delicious.....I wish it was available for sale by itself.
Try some.

The HEB on Marbach and 410 was selling Pabst in 12 oz 12 packs last time I looked. Sometimes they have Schlitz too. Forget what you heard about Schlitz. It has a nice Hoppy flavor like Pabst. I like that flavor but most people don't. Lone Star used to have it but not anymore. Only Pabst and Schlitz. I like Shiner especially their "Holliday Cheer Beer"! I can't wait till they start making it again. Pabst is good, I like it.

In Your Toilet after you empty out your bladder .. Seriously, why do people drink that stuff? Sorry, I'm from Pacific Northwest, so I am snobby about beer.. My apologies.

I used to brew my own beer. It almost caught on. A guy who was way smarter than me, thought there might be a future in what I was doing. He started the FRIO BREWERY just north of downtown. Promising but it folded. I don't like ANY light beer! Don't knock Schaefer Light. If you drink Light Beer taste doesn't matter. I used to drink Schaefer Premium because after you make your own beer everything is tasteless. They say "Beer is beer" and mostly I agree. Stop looking at the can or bottle and the price. TASTE IT!.. I bet I could put a COORS Lite a BUD lite a MILLER lite and a SCHAEFER Lite side by side and you couldn't tell which was which.
