My dh grew up there and is good friends with the owner (crazy old man!!). We only went when they had the jet boats there.
We have since bought a membership to Thousand Trails and thats our new hang out. It's right across the cove from Goat Hill.

Just FYI, the former state park with boat launch is no longer owned by the state...it has been a county-run park instead for quite a few years now.

Medina Lake is the worst lake around...I'm from Austin, went there once and thought it was joke..the rude toothless idiots there thought they had it going on..especially at some joke of a place called Pops! Travis, Canyon, even the small lakes around SA and Austin like Dunlop, Braunig, and Decker are better...that little craphole called Medina Lake has a long way to go!
