Not sure a thread like this has been started yet.

Who have you seen around town?

A few Sundays ago I saw Karen Grace from KENS TV eating lunch with her mom at Stone Werks at the RIM. One of the nicest "celebrities" I have had a short conversation with it. She took the time to introduce herself and her mother to me. Just a great experience.

You interrupted a stranger that was eating lunch with their family? Awesome.

apparently I had dinner right next to tommy lee jones and was the only one in the entire restaurant who didn't recognize him or hear all the servers talking about him. (I had two small kids with me and was focused on telling them to sit down, stop that, knock it off, wipe your face, use a fork, eat two more bites...)

Sigh....was my one and only celebrity encounter and I missed the whole darn thing.

No, all I said in passing was, "My wife and I love KENS5," but she kept up the conversation, and I continued it.

It already started a long time ago.

BTW Karen Grace is not a celebrity. TV personality, yes. Celebrity no.

That thread is totally different. I am talking about people you have seen, or talked to, not who have lived here for maybe a month.

The dude who saw the Parkers at La Cantera. That is what I am talking about.

We saw Tony arrive at Maggiano's in the Rim just at closing time and take a big round table. The waiters were told to be on red alert. They were seemingly annoyed as now they would have to hang around for a long time.

Also, he had a large part of women dressed in rather flamboyant but 'risque' clothes.

If you're in downtown July 9-11 you've got a good chance of seeing the Duggars, as they will be in town for a conference.

I myself have seen Stone Cold Steve Austin at North star a few years back - I didn't know who he was but my friends quickly informed me. I also saw Louie Anderson at the Alamo a few years back - he was a rude jerk IMO.
