Well, Costco has Canela Molida and is pretty cheap. I wonder if this is the same cinnamon you got at La Michoacana. Please check here: McCormick Cinnamon - Giant Sized - Mccormick Cinnamon Canela Molida Ground 18oz 510g - Epinions.com

I order mine from Spice House. True cinnamon. The sticks are soft and crumbly not hard like "fake" cinnamon.

I have never found anyplace local to get it.

By the way, I have alot of it and would share if you want to send me a DM. A little goes a long way.

Thanks, but I have enough canela/ceylon sticks to last us for a while, and ground up a bit of it too. We had Mexican hot chocolate last night with some! Yum! The stuff I have is from El Venado Foods.

For anyone else who'd like to get it locally...

Whole sticks roughly 4 - 5 sticks, approx 4-5 inches long, bagged @ World Market for 1.99.

Thanks, Dreadlockd! I haven't been to one of those in a while...ever since I found out they were no longer selling some things I used to buy there. Maybe I'll go back sometime.
