True that.

I did a mystery shop this past week for an authorized Cricket dealer. I don't know how accurate her information was but she said that very soon they're going to start changing all the Pocket signs to Cricket signs.

I've had AT&T for almost 6 years now. I get lousy reception at work, though several fellow workers get good reception at work with Verizon. Dropped calls is another problem. However, the main reason I'm going to leave AT&T when my contract ends in November is delayed voice mails. I had 3 voice mails last Tuesday, but didn't receive them until Friday. That's unacceptable as all 3 voice mails were emergencies.

See this is why cell companies can't be reviewed easily for service. At my work AT&T is king and people can get reception anywhere indoors. Everyone else has to go outdoors to make calls. It is very dependent on where you are going to be using the service.

We had pocket at one time. Nothing but problems, dropped calls, texts that didnt go thru or went thru six times. Under the pocket forum you will see much of those comments. Also took five months to get a rebate and several phone calls due to their mistakes. disaster.

Yes, school district employees get discounts with many of the carriers. Sprint I know gives them to anyone employeed with any of the school districts in Texas. 10% is the rate.

True, but seeing how more than half of my cell phone use is in the plant, then AT&T does not cut it. It doesn't help when your boss is trying to call you and you didn't get the call. A couple of weeks ago a fellow employee tracked me down in the plant and handed me his cell phone with Verizon so the boss could talk to me.

Try simple mobile. Se coverage as t mobile and att, but only 40 a month unlimited talk and text or 60 a month unlimited talk, text, and data. Really is simple. No additional tax or charges. You can save hundreds per year. Never had any problems and no contracts to sign. Iuss a payment, no late fees.

Depends on where you are located. I live just west of town (outside 1604). I got my son a phone and had it flashed to Pocket. He always complained of dropped calls when using his phone in the house. I checked his signal, and it went from 0 to 1 bar depending on where I was in the house. Had it re-flashed to Cricket and he doesn't have dropped calls any more. With Cricket he only gets 1 t0 2 bars, but no dropped calls.

I have Verizon and get strong signal on this side of town. Don't have any problems anywhere, except in some buildings. Since I get strong sgnal here with Verizon I can't believe Pocket is using Verizon cell towers, they might be using Sprint, but I can't say.

Cricket has its own network, but it switches to the networks of other companies when you're out of theirs. My signal improved on the south side when Pocket's network was included in Cricket's. Pocket covered some areas Cricket didn't, but the Pocket customers are getting the better end of the deal. The only reason why Pocket is nationwide now is because of Cricket, but the Pocket brand is going away.

I pay $40 a month for unlimited everything on Cricket. Cricket is getting some new, faster Android phones this year, a tablet pc (similar to iPad), and 4G by the end of the year. Cricket is thinking of piggybacking off of Clearwire's 4G network. I heard a rumor that Cricket isn't going to allow flashed phones anymore.
