I am wanting to move to New Braunfels and would like a nice area to live. I am not concerned with employment for I work out of the country and will drive to Houston and fly from there. I would like to be at or below $230,000. Any thoughts?

In that price range, I think the most active areas in New Braunfels with new and newer homes would be east/northeast of IH 35 near the Comal/Guadalupe county line. I DM'd you with some information on our area. Lots of options out there - but be SURE you understand traffic patterns before jumping into something! Hwy 46 on BOTH sides of town can become a furball during tourist season with all the folks coming and going to the river(s). Lots of other areas where you can avoid all that....

Downtown. New Braunfels has a cool historic area. Dunno if that $$$ will get you in though but it's worth a look anyway.
