Unfortunately this doesnt really surprise me. It wasnt that long ago I was in hs and remember a few teachers (and a coach) who would make inappropriate comments and advances towards students. In fact I ran into one the other day....it took a lot not to give him a piece of my mind now that I am a parent myself. But when youre a kid, you often dont have the "courage" to speak up or against someone who is in a position of power over you.
