We were at Dennys across from EZs I think San Pedro and Blanco and the service there was excellent.

Have recently been discussing horrible customer service with friends and was thrilled to get a waitress that was exceptional!

Have you had some great customer service that you would like to mention here?

We always got excellent service at the Denny's that used to be open on Broadway by UIW - no idea why they closed it as it was always full of college kids.

Next time let their manager know. If everyone let a manager know about a good experience they had, we would see those good employees again next time around rather than the crappy one's. Plus it's good karma.

Oh yeah xsa210tx!
My hubby and I make it a point to let a manager know of a good and not so good employee.
Managers want to hear the good stuff too plus they sometimes give out some coupons for a next visit, which is always nice!

SilverCreek78250 gave an excellent writeup for the Denny's on Blanco Rd. (just down the street from Jim's @ Blanco & 410) .

I do not understand SIlver Creek 78250?

Speaking of the Manager, it was great... he came by our table and asked how everything was. He did that to all the customers. And yes we told him!

I've been to that Denny's and only had good experiences there. I've been to a couple other Denny's around town too, often the service is nothing special but it is noteably good more often than I'd expect given that it's Denny's.

We tried the one near UIW before it closed. It wasn't really clean - smell was uggh! Service at lunch was slow even with few patrons. Given the location, it should have made money but it didn't.

The IHOP on Broadway is similar. I guess the late night crowd of kids and weirdos pays the bill.

I had a bad experience at the one near UIW too. I waited 15 minutes just to be sat down. Believe me, it wasn't busy at all. No one even acknowledged that we walked in. I waited just to tell them how horrible their service was, then left.

Now granted, that was a one time instance. I love their new menu and have only had exceptional experiences at their other locations.

They used to have a joke that went, If you leave Denny's complaining about the service, you would also probably leave a ***** house saying I just did not feel loved. I have never eaten at the Denny's down here, but the one I went to in Virginia once had the worst service I had ever seen. After hearing about the positive experience some have had here maybe I will give them another shot.
