Lanes are closed from Prue down towards Huebner with big old pipes on the side of the road.

Also, the construction oppposite the HEB at the Huebner intersection?

Drainage, a new HEB. If the latter, they are going to need lights to get in and out.

I'm sure there's a site somewhere that lists new city projects.

It looks like a continuation of the utility work that was being done a little bit down the ways on De Zavala. It all started around the same time.

Probably new water lines to feed (or feed from) the new water tower at Babcock and Prue.

HEB has had plans for a new store there for some time. This might finally be that coming to fruition.

From speaking to one of the construction guys on De Zavala, it appears it has moved down De Zavala when it comes Babcock. De Zavala is so much better in the afternoon now.

I asked a cashier at HEB on Babcock and he said the construction right accross the street is the new HEB, not an HEB Plus, just a bigger HEB with a gas station. It was about time

Don't know what's going on on Babcock/Prue but it drives me nuts.

that pic of the guy in the classic mustang in front of the HEB was cool. Feels so American.
